Egg Drop Experiment
Mr. Dempsey's 7th graders participated in the egg drop experiment. They designed structures that would prevent eggs from cracking when dropped from the roof by Mr. Farrell.
Blue Bridges Kick-Off

ECASB Hodgson Russ Collaboration Award
We are excited to announce that the Cheektowaga-Sloan UFSD has been awarded the ECASB Hodgson Russ Collaboration Award for our work with the Eric County Restorative Justice Coalition. This award will be presented to our district at a special ECASB dinner in June 2025.

Buffalo Bandits Clinic at JFK Middle School
Middle school students participated in our Buffalo Bandits clinic. Players #18 Lukas Nielsen, #77 Zack Belter, and #95 Chase Fraser came to JFK and taught students the fundamentals of lacrosse. Students practiced scooping, passing, and shooting. Students even got some of their swag signed by the players!

We have exciting news at JFK MS! For our 25 academic reward, the Buffalo Bandits are conducting a lacrosse workshop for students in grades 6, 7, and 8. On Tuesday, May 16, 2023, the Cheektowaga-Sloan Union Free School District community voted 'YES' to accept the proposed $8,5000,000 Beautification and Athletic Facility Enhancement Capital Project. This Capital Project has no impact on the District's tax levy or tax rate.

Students from JFK Middle and High School took part in the 2025 Niagara County Community College (NCCC) Tech Wars competition on January 8, 2025. Students competed in a number of events, including the small bridge competition, VEX Robotics, C02 dragster racing, mousetrap cars and more!
